December is a time for holiday shopping and increased online activity \u2013 unfortunately, it is also a period when online scammers intensify their efforts. Among the most common threats are phishing (impersonating banks, courier companies, or online stores) and fake promotions or “shopping bargains” designed to trick users into clicking suspicious links or providing their data. Seniors often become targets of such attacks, making digital security particularly important during this time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The first online course is now available on the SILWERS project website: “Phishing \u2013 Don\u2019t get fooled by online scammers!”. The course has been initially prepared in two language versions \u2013 Polish and English \u2013 but more language versions (Greek, Icelandic, and Czech) will be available soon to support the widest possible audience in building digital security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
