A report summarizing the results of the Expert Fora, conducted as part of WP2, has been published on the SILWERS project website. The document is now available in five language versions: English, Polish, Greek, Czech, and Icelandic, to facilitate the use of its findings by all stakeholders across the partner countries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The report presents the perspectives of IT and cybersecurity specialists regarding the key challenges faced by people aged 55+ in the digital environment and identifies the most critical risk areas associated with the development of AI. Among the most frequently discussed threats are phishing, deepfake-based scams and voice cloning, fake online stores, emotional manipulation and social engineering, identity theft, malware\/ransomware, and mass-personalized attacks supported by AI. Experts emphasize that effective protection for seniors requires a combination of education based on practical examples and the building of security habits (verifying information, caution toward urgent requests, and the protection of data and accounts). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The report also describes the areas where AI can realistically support daily life (e.g., health, communication, digital services) and identifies critical competencies for increasing the digital resilience of older adults. A significant component of the publication is the “Online threats for 55+” glossary, which organizes terminology and facilitates a consistent understanding of threats for both educators and seniors. <\/p>\n\n\n
