Critical Thinking
About Course
Critical thinking is the skill of slowing down and thinking carefully before acting, especially when using digital tools such as phones, computers, or the internet. It means asking simple questions like: Is this message expected? Can I trust it? Can I check this somewhere else?
For seniors, critical thinking helps to recognise misleading or suspicious messages, manage emotional reactions such as fear or urgency, and make safer decisions online. It is not about technical knowledge or being “good with computers.” It is about staying calm, checking information, and choosing actions based on facts rather than pressure or emotion.
