In May, the University of Economics in Katowice organized a lecture titled “Safe Internet for Seniors,” conducted by Paulina Rutecka as part of the SILWERS project.
Participants of the University of the Third Age at the University of Economics in Katowice learned about the threats associated with modern technologies and took part in a study conducted by Karina Cicha and Artur Strzelecki. The aim of the study was to identify key areas of safe Internet use by seniors.
As Dr. Karina Cicha emphasizes: “We are very pleased with the openness of the seniors and their readiness not only to share their observations about the Internet but, above all, their interest in the project itself, which they see as an opportunity to better understand the technology they want or need to use every day.”
Thank you to all participants, and we invite you to follow the next stages of the SILWERS project!
