In May, we conducted a survey among senior educators in Greece. Nearly 60 seniors participated, sharing their insights on the difficulties they encounter during daily Internet use and their concerns regarding online threats. This is the first stage of the SILWERS project, which responds to the real educational needs of older adults in a rapidly changing digital world.
As Sofia Tsiortou, head of the Greek project team, notes: “Our meeting with the seniors is the first step toward achieving the goals of the SILWERS project. The next stages will include meetings with both educators and local authorities to better understand the needs of our target group.”
Thanks to the commitment of international partners and the active participation of both seniors and educators, we will develop modern and practical educational materials that will enhance the safety and digital skills of older people. Stay with us and follow the next stages of the SILWERS project!
