SILWERS project meeting in Iceland – preparations for the launch of the platform
In October, a SILWERS project meeting was held at Háskólinn á Akureyri (University of Akureyri) in Iceland. The event brought together partners from the academic sector and non-governmental organizations, who are working together to develop activities for the safe digital inclusion of seniors.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the partner institutions, including the University of Economics in Katowice, Social Cooperative Enterprise Drosostalida, Vzdělávací centrum Hello, TSecurity ehf, and the host institution. This diverse group allowed for the integration of perspectives from research, education, and practical experience in the field of cybersecurity.

During the meeting, research results concerning seniors from various countries were discussed, and conclusions developed during previous expert activities were analyzed. The participants also established a timeline for the next steps, clarified priorities for the upcoming stages, and assigned tasks related to the preparation and launch of the SILWERS educational platform.
