A guide to the world of artificial intelligence for seniors

AI excels primarily in searching for information, explaining complex things, and in creative activity. Here are examples of how you can use it in your daily life:

  • Kitchen Advisor: You can write to her: “I only have zucchini, egg and cheese in the fridge. What can I cook for dinner?” The AI will build a recipe for you instantly.
  • Explaining official texts, contracts, legal documents: If you receive a complex letter from an office or a doctor you don’t understand, the AI can “translate” it into simple Czech and explain what the office requires of you.
  • Memory Helper: Don’t remember the name of an old movie or the name of a writer? Just describe what you know (e.g. “That movie with Oldřich Nový, where he played a hotel guest”), and the AI will find the right name for you.
  • Foreign language translations: If you receive an email from your grandchildren from abroad or want to read an article in another language, the AI translates the text into Czech very well.
  • Help with the search: “Find the nearest pharmacy open until 8 p.m.” The AI will find it on the map.
  • Read aloud: If your eyes hurt, the AI will read an article from the internet or a message from grandchildren.
  • Health Aid: It can help you understand what a particular medication is for or suggest back stretching exercises. Attention: However, it does not replace a doctor!
